This beautiful Ocean Liner model is handcrafted from beautiful wood such as rosewood, mahogany, teak and along with various other exotic woods. It is then painted in her original colors with an outer coat of clear vanish. The hull is constructed using plank on frame method, each strip of exotic wood is carefully joined together to form a smooth hull.

If you try to count the windows of this cruise ship model it probably has more than a thousand. An amazingly detailed model of this beautiful Queen Mary II was all hand built using plank on frame method. The craftsmen spent about more than 200 hours for this model. It has many details on the hull and deck area, such as the swimming pool, life boats, windows, rails, anchor, antenna, navigation equipment, propellers...a thousands different parts. All these detailed ornaments contribute to the value and appeal of this Ocean Liner Model. Please do not think that the propeller was put in incorrectly, they are 4 electric propulsion pods. The pods can actually turn around to pull or push the ship. Also, look at the front propellers they are bow thrusters. They are used to help this ship navigate easily into narrow areas.
