This museum quality, highly detailed, Ocean Liner model is Brand New, fully assembled and ready for display (not a kit).
This beautiful Ocean Liner model is handcrafted from beautiful wood such as rosewood, mahogany, teak and along with various other exotic woods. It is then painted in her original colors with an outer coat of clear vanish. The hull is constructed using plank on frame method, each strip of exotic wood is carefully joined together to form a smooth hull.
The Queen Elizabeth 2 has sailed 5.5 million nautical miles - that's more than any other ship ever (the equivalent of traveling to the moon and back 13 times), she has carried almost 2.1 million guests and completed 24 Full World Cruises. The QE II is the fastest merchant ship in operation, the QE2 can go faster backwards than most cruise ships can go forwards!
